Commissioned by Premio Ermanno Casoli & Elica Corporation for “FUORI SALONE – MILANO – 2018”.
EVENT HORIZON is an interactive installation, based on space-time distortion and information compression.
It materializes a black hole attractive effect on a domestic scale, teleporting the visitor into an otherwise inaccessible dimension. Thanks to the simple manifestation of its presence the spectator, detected by a toroidal platform of 8 meters in diameter equipped with sensors, produces a jet of steam that will be immediately drawn to a central point by a hidden powerful suction system.
