T.M.O.G (The Messages of Gravity) exhibition reconstructs the artist’s experiences between 2011 and 2012 during a series of residencies at prestigious theoretical physics institutes, including the Albert Einstein Institute in Berlin and the Perimeter Institute in Waterloo, Canada. Pozzi transforms the Grimmuseum exhibition space by integrating functional aesthetic elements derived from these locations, such as translucent gold filters on the windows and large-scale wallpapers documenting graphic performances realized on scientific blackboards. The goal is to establish an interdisciplinary dialogue that bridges contemporary art with the complex languages of modern physics.

The centerpiece of the show is the “Oracle” project, a technological device conceived as a portal for multi-linked spaces that challenges the linear conception of time. Utilizing a light-sensitive surface and a transduction system, the work captures physical phenomena and transmits them simultaneously to various locations, functioning as a sort of metaphysical “cloud computing” system. This tool seeks to explore the topological structure of reality, standing at the frontier between general relativity and quantum mechanics—fields Pozzi explored through collaborations with scientists such as Abhay Ashtekar.

The exhibition also features iconic works like the “Supersymmetric Partner” photographic series, where the artist’s jumps in front of Renaissance masterpieces capture a sense of suspension between different timelines, and the installation “Wall String #09,” which evokes the movement of subatomic particles. The show concludes with “The Quantum Gravity Cave,” a series of prints mapping researchers’ hands using UV lights and phosphorescent pigments. This final work connects the frontiers of theoretical physics to the ancestral language of cave paintings, suggesting that the creative impulse is a universal thread running through all of human history.
