ETERNAL INTERNET BROTHERHOOD

The Eternal Internet Brotherhood is a nomadic residency program founded by Angelo Plessas, designed to transition the digital community into remote, spiritually charged locations. During the 2014 edition held on the shores of the Dead Sea, an international collective of artists gathered at the lowest point on Earth to explore the intersection of archaic nature, physical isolation, and technological hyper-connectivity.

In this setting, Luca Pozzi orchestrated “The Big Jump Experiment,” involving the entire group in a series of collective jumps performed in front of an elastic backdrop featuring a white and gray checkered pattern. This motif, which explicitly references the “transparency” layer found in post-production software like Photoshop, transformed the desert into a metaphysical set. The jump serves not only as a challenge to gravity but as an attempt to project the human body into the “empty space” of software, merging quantum physics with digital culture.

Complementing this research was the work “Oracle Blue Window,” a visual device acting as a portal between dimensions. By using this blue “window” to frame the ancient landscape, Pozzi created a short circuit between digital interfaces and geological reality. The work functions as a modern oracle, suggesting that universal connection is not merely a matter of internet bits, but is rooted in the invisible laws governing space-time.
