Higgs Boson Detector
Magnetic Pull System
Inspired by the microscopic dimensions being investigated by CMS (compact muon solenoid) of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva, the Higgs Detector is composed by a dodecagonal anodized aluminium surface with 17 aluminium modules curved by hands and 34 ping-pong balls in magnetic suspension, in order to create a floating tridimensional pattern.
