Wilson Tour Loading

Wilson Tour Loading is a photographic series centered on iconic 20th-century artworks within the Museo del Novecento of Milan. Realized in 2014 by capturing a tennis ball in mid-air as it passes before these masterpieces, the artwork juxtapose the fleeting temporality of a single instant with the enduring legacy of an artistic career. Through the application of a radial blur photoshop effect, the artist carves out a unique legal and aesthetic space: one where his creative intent and existing copyrights coexist in tension, awaiting a “complete freedom” to be realized in a predetermined future.
