The Lotus Platform is a multi-dimensional pictorial environment inspired by the linguistic invention of the legendary 1944 collage “Icarus” by Henri Matisse interpolated to the suggestive imagery of Claude Monet’s ponds. It is composed of five luminescent sponges in magnetic levitation on 12 black crystals in the shape of a nifea leaf, placed on a variable size surface of blue martial arts tatami.
