The Oracle Portal device has been designed by Luca Pozzi to draw with light by remotely, in order to create a non-linear temporal experience fragmented in several places.
The prototype has been realized by BCAA and supported by Riot Studio.
Is composed by The Mother Platform and by an increasing number of Satellite Platforms. The Mother Platform is painted with phosphor and performed by the artist using an UV led light.
This process produce a temporary local lighting on the surface called: Drawing Session. The Drawing Session is captured by a camera, processed by a software and sent through internet to the Satellite Platforms.
The Satellite Platforms are provided with mechanical arms, engines, UV led on mechanical rail, a phosphorescent crystal and equipped with an I-cloud memory were all the drawing sessions are recorded in order to accomplish and reproduce an entire light year loop.
