ARTIST IN LAB – 2020 Presentation at STATE STUDIO (Berlin)
Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft’s residency program »Artist in Lab« enters its second round.
On 31 October 2019, STATE Studio and Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft invites interested artists and researchers to the »Ideenwerkstatt Artist in Lab 2020« at STATE Studio in Berlin-Schöneberg.
Being part of the »#WHATSNEXT. 70 Jahre Fraunhofer. 70 Jahre Zukunft« anniversary campaign the event aims to set new impulses for future-oriented collaborations at the intersection of science and art.
Artists, designers and scientists will be given the opportunity to get to know each other and to develop project ideas for possible submissions for the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft’s «Artist in Lab« program in 2020.
We would like to invite you to this event!
The program includes an introduction by the participating Fraunhofer Institutes and presentations of inspiring art-science projects. Interactive formats offer the opportunity for personal discussions as well as the presentation of one’s area of research and one’s creative work. During workshops, participants are also invited to develop ideas for collaborations and explore links between current research, art, design, and music.
We look forward to presenting inspiring art-science collaborations and hosting talks with Alberto Moscatelli (Senior Editor, Nature Nanotechnology), Luca Pozzi (Artist), Charlotte Dachroth and Ole Jeschonnek (Artist, winner Fraunhofer Artist-in-Lab 2019)
