The Supersymmetric Partner (2007/2009) photographs series shows Luca Pozzi’s pilgrimage along nine renaissance paintings by artist Paolo Veronese, exhibited at Musée du Louvre (Paris), at Pinacoteca di Brera (Milan), at Chateaux de Versailles (Paris), at Sanctuary of Monteberico (Vicenza), at Galleria Sabauda (Turin), at Gemäldegalerie (Dresden) and at Cini Foundation (Venice). The three-dimensionality of the artist’s body and the two—dimensionality of the pictorial space merge into a third reality through an athletic movement – an actual jump—frozen in a suspended and not linear time.
This Particular Jump session has been realized in occasion of the restoration of the Painting “Convito in Casa Levi Haeredes Pauli” for the historical monographic exhibition of Paolo Veronese at the museum La Gran Guardia (From July 5 to October 5, Verona, 2014) .
