After the Pinacoteca di Brera and the Sistine Chapel, a Third Eye Prophecy appears in the Chapel of the Sacred Heart located inside the Cattolica University of Milan, a place of profound significance for the University, frequented and much loved by the community (teachers, students and the staff of the university), effectively constituting an alternative exhibition.

Through the Target image technology and the Unity programming language for video games, the sculpture appears among the layered narratives of the chapel where the four polychrome bas-reliefs by Manzù meet their eyes, creating a link with the Tabernacle located in the apse as a symbol of evangelical spirituality contained in the Transubstantiation.

More generically the Third Eye Prophecy is a tennis ball ovalized by the speed with an explosive pupil in the center, imagined as a quantum contemporary digital prophet.

Inspired by the Loop Quantum Gravity theory by Carlo Rovelli, Abhay Ashtekar and Lee Smolin of the late 1980s and early 1990s and by Multi-Messenger cosmology, based on the study of Gravitational Waves, Neutrinos, Gamma Rays, and particularly on Dark Matter.  The work is intended to superimpose 3 research fields, attempting an interdisciplinary visual bridge between theoretical physics, theology and experimental physics, a floating presence able to reflect, connect and multiply the two-dimensional information stored on the surfaces of the church.

The work it’s been produced in occasion of the “Nulla dies Sine Linea” group exhibition.
